Accommodation
Live at the heart of uni life in dedicated student accommodation and a guaranteed place in halls in your first year. All our halls are in popular student areas near our campuses and most are less than a 10 minute walk from your lectures.
We're constantly updating and adding to the facilities you'll use on your course. We've invested over £100 million in new facilities over the last five years, including 24-hour libraries, student-designed study areas, and the same equipment you'll find in your future workplace – whether it's an aeroplane manufacturer or a hospital.
Over the next five years we’ll be investing £220m in our campuses. We’ll be developing completely new buildings for Sheffield Business School and the College of Social Sciences and Arts. We’ll also be creating landscaped green spaces and refurbishing many of our existing facilities, including the Students’ Union building. The development will cement Hallam’s position at the heart of Sheffield’s economy and cityscape, and will deliver modern spaces designed for collaborative, flexible teaching and learning.
